Discover Bari through its flavors, its people, and its stories in a unique three-hour experience that will take you from the heart of the local market to the kitchen of a true Barese grandmother.
We will begin our journey among the colorful stalls of the market, where the guide will bring the food to life, sharing stories about seasonal ingredients, local traditions, and the deep connection that ties the people of Bari to their cuisine. Here, food is not just about ingredients—it’s about daily life, cherished recipes passed down through generations, and a culinary culture that permeates every corner of the city.
Leaving the market behind, we will step into a private home, away from the typical tourist paths, where a grandmother will welcome us with her warm smile and wisdom. Together with her, we will learn to make handmade pasta just as it was done in the past—no precise measurements, only instinct, hands, and heart. As you knead and shape the orecchiette, an authentic dialogue will unfold, filled with gestures, dialect, and shared moments.
